Welcome to ABES 2017
The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is hosting the 11th Annual Architecture, Business, Engineering and Science Student Conference on April 2017. This Conference is designed to showcase student accomplishment, promote research excellence at UTSA, and highlight science, engineering, business, and architecture education in San Antonio. The conference theme is "Cloud, Big Data Analytics and Network Data Mining" reflecting expectations for UTSA and its alumni to emerge at the forefront of research and development excellence at state and national levels.
The 11th Annual UTSA ABES Student Conference 2017 will provide UTSA science, engineering, business, and architecture students with an exceptional opportunity to present research projects or to exhibit other significant accomplishments, such as capstone senior projects, to the UTSA and San Antonio community.Participants and attendees will gain professional presentation experience, network with their peers and faculty, and learn about graduate education and science as a career.

Registration and abstract submissions must be done through Eventbrite

Registration Information
Registration is free for all attendees. Students who want to present their work should register as a presenter under with the Presenter Registration option. General attendees, those who are not presenting, should register under the General Attendee Registration option.
Submission Information
Submitted abstracts should not exceed 2 pages in length, double spaced.
Oral and poster presenters will be selected from those who submit abstracts.

Who Should Present
Students from the Architecture, Business, Engineering or Science colleges are welcome.
Students performing research that are looking to improve their presentation skills, overcome a fear of public speaking, or that simply want to show off their work to others.
Non-UTSA students are also welcome and encouraged to present. We have had students from local universities and high schools come to present at the conference.
