Self-driving, search-and-rescue rover is under study at UTSA

Patrick Benavidez, Assistant Director of of the Autonomous Control Engineering Lab (ACE Lab) was featured this month in the San Antonio Express News. Under the direction of Dr. Mo Jamshidi, the ACE Lab is working with the Air Force Research Laboratory in partnership with North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University to develop self-driving rovers that can conduct search-and-rescue missions in treacherous terrain.
